The Bloodhound Claws scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing an extra blood loss effect on top of the initial Physical Damage this weapon causes. Its a lightweight piece and can be equipped on both hands. For pure dex, nagakiba (use the prosthesis later on), but if you're running a pseudo quality build, use Fang. I mean Nagakiba plus another katana might make up for it, right?Bloodhound's Finesse is better for mobs and fast targets though, and the Fang can be buffed with magic and greases. So I guess it also depends on what you're fighting. And of course, any status build (like powerstance bleed/frost twinblades or curved swords) will do way more damage on enemies that aren't resistant to it than either option.

For early/mid game I uses the nights flail from one of those nighttime only cavalier minibosses. Endgame, there's a good ice+lightning katana, and a Magic Katana.
