If you are lower level (40-42) and trying to grind mageweave for tailoring (which you will) the best spot to farm is the ogres in Feralas at Gordunni Outpost (north of Camp Mojache). They are 40-43 and give mageweave on a consistent basis, moreso than the gnolls, plus they have considerably less HP (especially the mages).You have two choices when farming this: A) Dungeons- Higher drop rates, but chances are you'll be competing with other group members. Even if all 5 people in the party don't have it, however, the drop rates are usually high enough that at least 3 people will get it (if not all 5). B) Zul'Drak- Highest non-Dungeon drop rates are in Zul'Drak.
