If you're thinking end game gearing wise you can consider both the A5 and A2 merc. Since the A5 merc can now equip axes then you have the possibility of running Might/Fanaticism. However, an A2 merc could go with Pride/Templar's for concentration, a low level might, as well as their own aura.
